Delicious hot chocolate. I had the 'caramel' milk chocolate. Unreal! Super dog friendly and gave our little pup a free puppacino. Lovely staff. Not the comfiest seats, but our drinks didn't last long anyways!
Really great chocolatey drinks. The hot chocolate sizing is very small, if you get the small size just keep that in mind. But the iced chocolates are a decent size whether that is a small or a large. The shakes are very nice, personally I think the dark chocolate flavours are better as it’s not as sweet. We tried 70% classic dark in hot and a shake. We then tried 85% dark chocolate milk and a 50% shake. I think the 85% is an acquired taste, very bitter but really cures that chocolate craving. Really enjoyed my experience here, great drinks.
I didn't get the lady's name who served me feel so bad because she was so amazing, the service here was so amazing I told the lady I like white chocolate and what can she recommend me as it was my first time she gave me a few options from hot and cold to shake etc so I went for the orignal white chocolate shake and it was so lovely
I’m a serious coffee lover, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a coffee as good as the one I got here. There was a lovely barista with green eyes, brown hair, and a warm smile—slim build, and absolutely amazing at her craft. I didn’t catch her name, but she made me the best cup of coffee I’ve ever tasted in my life. Truly unforgettable. If you’re a coffee fan, you need to stop by Cup Lid Coffee Cafe. That one cup made my entire day.
I bought the hot chocolate 100% intense. Not many people choose this but I found it ok! I've been back for the 85 percent dark chocolate range and each time it never disappoints. I've been to a similar shop (in Trinity) and I would prefer CupLid going forward.
Cup lid sell the best hot chocolates you will ever try! The staff are friendly and clearly have attention to detail when making their drinks. Truly delicious, I recommend highly!
Best chocolate milkshake ever, tucked into everything before I actually managed to get a picture ahah. The smoothest and creamiest dark chocolate milkshake and it tasted phenomenal. Could have about 5000 of these and still want more. The brownie was also super delicious! Moist and super tasty, loved the combination of flavours. Already planning the next trip back!
I would highly recommend trying their matchamisu and tiramisu drink. I was skeptical at first, wondering if they would be too sweet, but I was pleasantly surprised—they were blended to perfection. The only downside is that it can get busy sometimes, making it tricky to find a seat. However, the lovely staff more than make up for it.
